Recently we have had number of customers in Australia that needed to get an import permit for their blue training simulators. You can either fill it in before it arrives in Australia or once you receive a notice from customs.

We usually do not have an issue with sending these to Australia and they move through customs without any issues, but we thought we should let our Australian customers have this information as a precaution.

The issue is that Australia considers these items as firearm replicas and the importation of firearm replicas is controlled under the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956 (the Regulations). Importers must obtain permission to bring these goods into Australia.
